This cold taco dip is made of several ingredients including shredded Mexican cheese, sour cream, rotel, taco seasoning, and chopped green onion.
How long is taco dip good for?
This taco dip with sour cream will last for 3-4 days, when refrigerated. And it’s important to keep taco dip refrigerated because of the sour cream. Just be sure to not keep it out for longer than two hours or so, otherwise, it’ll spoil!
How can you tell is taco dip is bad?
You can tell if taco dip is bad when the sour cream smells rotten, or if it’s been more than 3-4 days since you made it. But before that, it’s usually flavorful and all good to go!
Easy Taco Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Taco Seasoning Packet 1.5 oz.
- 16 oz. Sour Cream
- 1 1/2 cups Shredded Mexican Cheese
- 1 can Rotel drained (10 oz.)
- 4 tbsp. Sliced Green Onions
Instructions
- Mix together Sour Cream and Taco Seasoning in medium mixing bowl until well combined, then transfer to serving dish.
- Sprinkle Shredded Cheese over sour cream/taco seasoning mixture, and then top with Rotel and Green Onions.
- Serve immediately with Tortilla Chips for dipping. Enjoy!
