Caramel Apple Pudgy Pie Recipe
Caramel Apple Pudgy Pie Recipe (Camping Pies)
Ingredients
- 2 slices White Bread
- 1/4 cup Apple Pie Filling
- 2 tbsp. Smucker’s Caramel Sundae Syrup
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- Spreadable Butter
- Optional: Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Spray inside of both sides of campfire pie iron with nonstick cooking spray.
- Butter 1 side of a slice of bread, and place buttered side down on pie iron.
- Spread Apple Pie filling on top of the slice of bread, sprinkle with Ground Cinnamon, then drizzle with Caramel Syrup.
- Butter 1 side of another slice of bread, and place buttered side up on top of the Apple Pie Filling topped bread.
- Close up campfire pie iron, and cook over hot coals for 1 minute – 1 minute 30 seconds on each side {2 – 3 minutes total}.
- Once done, carefully open up pie iron, remove your pudgy pie, transfer to a plate, and ENJOY!
