This Caramel Apple Pudgy Pie Recipe is here to the rescue!  With an irresistible blend of sweet and savory flavors, this easy camping dessert is topped off with the delicious crisp from the pie iron.  Both friends and family will love this fun cast iron pudgy pie dessert!

Nothing beats a hot dessert after a day playing out in the woods.  Plus, this camping apple pie takes only 5 Simple Ingredients.  Talk about easy!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your Campfire Pudgy Pie…

Caramel Apple Pudgy Pie Recipe (Camping Pies)

Craving a delicious campfire dessert? This EASY and delicious Caramel Apple Pudgy Pie Recipe is a game-changer!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices White Bread
  • 1/4 cup Apple Pie Filling
  • 2 tbsp. Smucker’s Caramel Sundae Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • Spreadable Butter
  • Optional: Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Spray inside of both sides of campfire pie iron with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Butter 1 side of a slice of bread, and place buttered side down on pie iron.
  • Spread Apple Pie filling on top of the slice of bread, sprinkle with Ground Cinnamon, then drizzle with Caramel Syrup.
  • Butter 1 side of another slice of bread, and place buttered side up on top of the Apple Pie Filling topped bread.
  • Close up campfire pie iron, and cook over hot coals for 1 minute – 1 minute 30 seconds on each side {2 – 3 minutes total}.
  • Once done, carefully open up pie iron, remove your pudgy pie, transfer to a plate, and ENJOY!
