15.5ozCan Garbanzo Beansdrained and rinsed
Optional: Pinch of pepper
Optional: Additional drizzle of Olive Oil and sprinkles of Paprika for garnish
Place Tahini, Garlic, and Lemon Juice into food processor.
Process for about 20 seconds, then stop, remove the lid, and scrape down the sides.
Then add Garbanzo Beans to food processor, and process for 3 more minutes. Drizzle in Cold Water while processing.
After 3 minutes, stop the processor, remove the lid, scrape down the sides, and add Salt, Cumin, and optional Pepper. Process for 1 more minute and drizzle in Olive Oil while processing.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 3 days. Just prior to serving, drizzle with additional optional olive oil and sprinkle with Paprika. Enjoy!
* Recipe Makes 1 1/4 cup Hummus*If you want to reach a smoother consistency, start by adding an additional 1 tsp Cold Water. If still not at desired consistency, then keep slowly adding Water, 1 tsp at a time, until the hummus is your preferred consistency.
